- Earn the continuing education credits you need (CEU; CPE; CLE – NY, CT).
- Stay up-to-date on changes in the profession, upcoming educational programs and events, and resources of interest to you via our monthly newsletter.
- Contribute content to the ADFP website, newsletter, and on partner websites such as DoOver.com.
- Participate in active local chapters throughout the United States.

ADFP members are required to fulfill the following continuing education requirements:
- A minimum of 10 divorce financial planning-related continuing education (CE) credits each year
- Two continuing education credits in ethics every two years
- Maintain proof of satisfaction of continuing education requirements for a period of five years
Join an ADFP chapter and attend at least four hours of meetings each year
Though not required, it is also recommended that members attend the ADFP annual conference every two years.
