    • Overview of bankruptcy for individual and pass thru business entities
    • Decision criteria for filing bankruptcy -
    • What to do if a client thinks bankruptcy might be an option as part of a divorce - (probably most of us don't want to take on this kind of client, but they do call)
      • Can or should we help them? How would we get paid?
      • Who can help them? Referrals?
    • Is a bankruptcy in a divorce a real option for someone who doesn't want to pay support. Other dastardly behaviors a divorcing or current spouse might threaten or do?

  • Divorce Taxation and Tax Integration into Family Law Software - JD Heberger, CDFA, CPA - Priority Topics with JD as Follows:
    • Overview of tax reform for individuals – not business entities
    • Dissomaster and Family Law Software updates for new tax laws
    • Determination of best filing status – HOH and dependent children – Child tax & dependent care credits and more
