When going through a divorce, the whole family is impacted.  How do you plan appropriately for a child with life-long special needs without disqualifying them for government benefits and services in the future?  What are some of the common mistakes advisors make when planning for a family with special needs? Is there more to child support than who gets the tax deduction? How do you take into consideration the financial needs of the care giving parent when the child is living at home and when/if the child moves from the family home? How do you plan for the changing needs of the child along their lifespan? How do you strike a balance of what the child’s needs are and what the resources will provide?

This webinar will tell you what you need to know when serving as the financial planner to couples planning for divorce when they have a child with special needs.
